• Faithful to my Homeland, the Republic of Poland

  • Our Delegation which has been functioning since Poland joined NATO in 1999 deals with political and military co-operation among 28 Allies. On the one hand, our aim is to assure security in the Euro-Atlantic area as well as permanent and stable civil and military co-operation among Allied partners. On the other hand, we promote Polish interests within the Alliance.

Poland is engaged in the full spectrum of Allied activities in such fields as NATO operations, work on strategic documents, co-operation within the framework of Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC), Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istambul Co-operation Initiative (ICI) as well as NATO-Ukraine Commission (NUC), NATO-Georgia Commission (NGC) and NATO-Russia Council (NRC).

All these tasks and activities are focused on the political aspect of co-operation. In the military area the Permanent Delegation (PERMREP) co-operates with the Polish Military Representation (MILREP) headed by Major General Janusz Bojarski who represents Poland in the Military Committee (MC). Our Delegation is also supported by the Polish National Military Representation to the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons.
