    On May 28 NATO HQ hosted a meeting of the national security advisers and hybrid points of contact.

    This meeting was the first of its kind at NATO. The Allies discussed achievements to-date in addressing hybrid threats as well as future activities in this area. They also talked about the challenges to their civil preparedness and national critical infrastructure, also in the context of the development of 5G technology. As part of countering hybrid threats, NATO will focus on on improving situational awareness, intelligence and information sharing, as well as early detection of threats.


    Sir Julian King, the EU Commissioner for the Security Union, took part in one of the working sessions of the meeting.


    The Polish delegation was headed by Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maciej Lang.
